According to Jack, he had been sitting at the dining table browsing for recipes on his iPad when he felt an intense pressure behind his ear. The sensation spread up his head and down his neck, quickly escalating beyond typical sinus pressure. On 2 February, Carolyn posted a photo of a parking lot, stating she was "at the ER".
