James Charles Scalfani (born January 1965), mostly known as Jim, is Jack's gay brother alongside Charles. He is a serial enabler of Jack, seemingly sacrificing his prestigious positions at multiple companies to help his weird brother out, either by making Jack's sauces available wherever he can, or handing Jack other kinds of partnerships for his shows.
Online activities
Jim will occassionally appear on Jack's channel F as in Frank.
Jim briefly hosted a podcast on YouTube titled Shaping Truth from August 2025 to January 2026. Unfortunately, Jim deleted the entire channel around March 2026 with no archive in sight. The podcast primarily consisted of Jim going into rather odd levels of detail about his life, treating it as some form of therapy rather than entertainment.
Personal life
Jim is gay (Jack will mention this a lot). He has co-owned multiple homes since 2005 with someone named Matthew W. Larsen - a possible lover, however this is unconfirmed.[2][3] At one point, Jim had an account on Gay Room Rentals, in which he sought roommates around the Tampa, Florida area.[4] This account was still active by March 2024.[5] As of January 2025, the page returns a 404 error.
Jim appears to frequently talk with Jack and Charles. The two brothers berated Jim on the F as in Frank episode "The Fear of AI", in which they mock a podcast episode Jim sent them on the matter.
