2014 house move
In June 2014, Jack moved from Buena Park, California to Hendersonville, Tennessee with the help of moving company United Van Lines. On 5 July, Jack broadcast a live stream in which he complained about the move.[1] During the move, some of Jack's belongings were damaged; the blame for which Jack places entirely on the company. He attempted to get them to pay almost $17,000 to replace his furniture, even after an appraiser determined the damage to be worth only about $7,000.
Background
On 16 June 2014, movers from United Van Lines arrived at Jack's residence to transfer his belongings into their van. Much to Jack's chagrin, he observed that his possessions were being consolidated with others' furniture during transport. Jack was of the opinion that he was entitled to a dedicated moving van and criticized United Van Lines for not providing him with exclusive service. Unbeknownst to Jack, it is a common practice among moving companies to combine shipments in an effort to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Moreover, most individuals would opt to sell their large appliances prior to a move. However, due to the excessive amount of items Jack needed to move, a total of three vans were necessary to accommodate the relocation to Tennessee, necessitating an additional day for the movers to complete the loading process. Jack also voiced his frustration about the inconvenience of having to endure the wait in the sweltering summer temperatures of 80-90°F (26-32°C).

When storing a refrigerator unit long-term while it is not in use, it is important to ensure no moisture remains inside the unit. Otherwise, mold or other forms of bacterial cultures will form within the dark, damp enclosure. Jack was completely unaware of this and ended up with a fridge full of mold. Jack, of course, takes no responsibility for this and believes that United Van Lines was responsible for ensuring proper move prep of his household appliances. It is likely that mold continues to grow in the dark, damp corners of Jacks fridge to this very day.
The result
Jack proceeded to file a claim for damages with United Van Lines, seeking compensation for numerous important items, including a Disney snow globe valued at $127, a pasta bowl priced at $374, and a photograph of Al Pacino for $150. Unfortunately, he was unable to provide a detailed list for many items he reported as missing. A third-party appraiser concluded that the majority of the damages were not related to the moving process, valuing the actual damage at around a mere $7,000 USD. Jack tried to engage lawyers to address this pressing matter but has not mentioned any outcomes since. It's presumed that he made little to no headway and has subsequently given up on the issue.

Jack's damages claim. It should be noted that the items do not add up to $16,803, but instead totals $16,609 (and that Jack doxed himself again here).
